PS Now Game List Expands With Mass Effect 2, Dead Space 3 And More As EA Brings Games To Sony's Streaming Service

Mass Effect 2 And Dead Space 3 Join PS Now's Streaming Lineup

PlayStation Now, PlayStation's cloud-based game streaming service, already has a pretty impressive library for a program still in open beta, and it's about to get access to a couple blockbuster franchises as EA adds games from Mass Effect, Dead Space and other series to the PS Now lineup.

As announced on the PlayStation Blog, some of EA's top games will become available for PlayStation owners to stream starting December 2. Mass Effect 2 and Dead Space 3 are the heavy hitters here, alongside Mirror's Edge. Also set to hit PS Now are NBA Jam On Fire Edition and Bejeweled 3.

Like any game on PS Now, players will be able to stream these games through the cloud onto their console without having to spend time downloading or updating software. The system works on a rental kind of service, meaning players can pay a certain amount of money to get streaming access to a game for a week or more, if they want.

These EA games join a library filled with content from the likes of Capcom, Sega and, of course, Sony itself. The service is still in an open beta, and the team behind it is working to get a subscription model up and running so players could stream as many games as they want over PS Now for a flat, monthly rate.
