Nintendo Is Bringing Wii U Games, 3DS Games And Amiibos To Malls Across America Starting At The End Of The Month

Nintendo Will Be Spending December Traipsing From Mall To Mall, Showing Off Their Consoles To Kids

To raise hype for their consoles just in time for the holiday season, Nintendo and some of its most popular characters will be spending the end of this month and most of December on a cross-country tour of America's malls, showing off their most popular games for the Wii U and 3DS.

Wii U Sales Are Up As Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS Hits The Million Copy Sold Mark

Some of the tour's main draws will be big events like a Mario Kart 8 tournament or some rounds of Super Smash Bros. for Wii U. The tour also promises some appearances from iconic Nintendo characters like Mario, Luigi and Pikachu.

Of course, the main thing on display at these temporary interactive displays will be the games. Nintendo is using this event to show off the library of games that both the Wii U and 3DS have built up. Highlights on the Wii U include games like Hyrule Warriors, Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker and Skylanders: Trap Team. On the 3DS, passersby will have the chance to see the two new Pokèmon games, The Legend Of Zelda: A Link Between Worlds and Sonic Boom: Shattered Crystal. The event is also a place where guests can check out the company's new Amiibo line of accessories.
