Even Free, Lindsay Lohan's The Price Of Fame May Cost Too Much; New App Lets You Play Celebrity As Only Lindsay Knows How [TRAILER]

How Much Is Lindsay Lohan's The Price Of Fame? No Amount Is Too Low For New Mobile Celebrity Game; Suck It, Kim Kardashian!

Let’s face it, folks, it’s Kim Kardashian’s world and we’re just living in it. When she’s not busy breaking the internet, Kim is also the star of her own app which is doing exceedingly well on the iOS Store. Not content to let Kim steal all the spotlight, sometimes-actress and paparazzi princess Lindsay Lohan has announced the release of her own celebrity life app.

Tales From The Borderlands Is Now Available On iOS!

Please stop laughing. This is serious business. Lindsay Lohan's The Price of Fame is “designed as a parody on celebrity culture and paparazzi.” If a parody of celebrity culture parodies celebrity culture, is it truly a parody? What rabbit hole have we descended down as a society that such things exist?

It gets better. The game is developed by Space Inch, a mobile developer that has seen success with such titles as Make It Rain and Disco Bees. That’s not the good part. The game was programmed by Andy Ross, who you may know as the guitarist to OK Go! Yeah, the band with the great music videos.

"I love this game and am happy to be part of it. It's so much fun!" said Lohan in a release, through contented eyes. At last, a paycheck.

Lindsay Lohan's The Price Of Fame let’s players taste the good life of a celebrity and allows them to purchase clothes, pets, cars for their virtual celebrity. Not featured is the actual price of fame: stalkers, drug addiction, the narcissism, self-doubt, poor business investments and the occasional need to actually, you know, work. But hey, Prada handbags all day.

The Price Of Fame is free. Well, if only it were that easy. The game is available today on the App Store and Google Play.

I wonder what Kim will have to say about this? Watch the trailer below. It's definitely...a game.
