We all thought we knew what scary was. Then The Babadook came out and we realized we had all been fooling ourselves this entire time. The film was a surprise hit, some people are hailing it as the scariest film since forever. Two new clips have been released to prove it.

The Babadook has just come out this fall but already it's taking the horror world by storm. The story revolves around Amelia, played by Essie Davis, and her son Samuel, played by Noah Wiseman. Ameilia was widowed early on and is raising her son alone. Her son doesn't seem to be handling the death of his dad well and has behavioral issues.
After reading the pop-up book, "Mister Babadook", strange events begin happening to both of them and soon after, Amelia is convinced that the monster from the book is haunting them.
Pennywise the Dancing Clown Returns in IT Remake
The first of the clips, features the Edward Gorey like picture book that introduces the family to the story of the Babadook. If you liked the look of it, then you'll be happy to know that you can actually order a real life version of the book from the website. You know, for the kids.
The second clip shows one of the first appearances of the Babadook in the real world. It also answers the question on why you should keep your blinds closed at night.
