We are officially one week out until Christmas and everything that’s coming out is more than likely already out. That gives us slim pickings on the Nintendo front. Let’s see what the House of Mario has for us this week.

This War Of Mine Update Adds Greater Character Selection Abilities

The Wii U is seeing not one but two new titles for the Virtual Console. Starting today, players can pick up Natsume Championship Wrestling, the SNES title that lets you pick between 12 different wrestlers and battle up to four of your friends. $7.99. Chances are though, you’re currently enmeshed within WWE 2K15, so maybe wrestling isn’t your thing. Mega Man Zero, the GBA classic is out now. Play as fan favorite Zero - the cooler version of Mega Man - as you attempt to broker peace between humans and Reploids. $7.99.

It is also Mega Man’s birthday this week, so Nintendo is throwing a huge party they’re calling ‘Mega Manniversary which is just fantastic. Select titles are now up to 50% off for both Wii U and 3DS. The sale ends December 22.

Second Dr. Who Minecraft Skins Add 10, 8, 7, 5, 3 and 2 To Xbox Version

Also coming to Wii U and 3DS systems this week are:

Metal Gear Solid Snake Eater 3D - the very well done third entry into the iconic Metal Gear Solid series is now on 3DS with enhanced graphics and yes, 3D support. One of the very best in the franchise. $29.99.

99Moves - in the grand tradition of 99Bullets and 99Seconds, players have only 99 moves to make it through a series of harrowing puzzles. Oh and it’s in 60fps and 1080p. $2.49 on the Wii U eShop.
BLOK DROP X TWISTED FUSION - a new physics based puzzler game that has you both guiding an interesting little creature to safety and blowing things up. A win-win for gamers. $1.99 on the Wii U eShop.
Asterix: Mansion of the Gods - based on the cult comic Asterix & Obelix, the new 16 level adventure title has our grinning hero trying to save the forest from the Romans. $34.99 for Nintendo 3DS.
Fairune - a new retro 8bit rpg similar to Zelda. What’s intriguing is that a girl has been tapped by the hand of destiny, flipping the script on the typical male-lead in these situations. $2.99 for Nintendo 3DS. (Also available on iOS/Android)
League of Heroes - another action RPG title that may look 16-bit, but has touch of modern mechanics to it. Weather effects, time of day and over 60 quests await you. $4.99 for the Nintendo 3DS.

Nintendo has also dropped the prices on a whole host of titles for both Wii U and 3DS. Head over to the sale page to see what’s available.

We’ll see you next week for the big Christmas list! A hunting trip for some sort of water fowlwill be arriving just in time for the holiday celebration. In the meantime, in honor of Mega Man; feel both old and superior at the same time with the latest REACT video
