The Walking Dead Spoilers: Fans Offer Theories, Petitions, And Spoons To Bring Beth Back

Fans Go Crazy To Bring Beth Back To The Walking Dead

The Walking Dead season five's shocking end left fans in a tailspin of emotion. Once they got over the shock, they started campaigning for what they saw as a major wrong in the zombie infested universe. Honestly though, the push to bring Beth back is getting widely out of hand.

American Horror Story: Freak Show Mid-Season Finale Brings on the Tears

By now, most people who watch the show are aware that the character of Beth Greene was killed during the mid-season finale. It's the apocalypse. No one is safe. This death was different than any of the myriad of others for fans however.

First there was a petition to bring the character back somehow. Over 50K people signed it. Then fans started sending spoons to the network in reference to an episode where Beth finds a collector silver spoon with Washington DC on it.

Arya Stark to Die on Game of Thrones?

I repeat, they're sending spoons, with drawings and quotes on them, to AMC. Boxes of them.

This isn't doesn't even begin to cover the fan theories regarding how to bring her back without breaking the set rules for life and death in the universe. Then there are those who don't care about the rules and just want her back.

Most of the ideas center on the entire episode being a dream ala St. Elsewhere, the most famous "It was just a dream" television use of all time. This includes the outrageous fan theory pointed out by iDigitalTimes.

In it, the blogger in question reverses pretty much the entirety of the final episode to suit the Keep Beth Alive agenda.

Unfortunately for Beth lovers everywhere, the season has already wrapped and Beth is not coming back. It's time to let go and grieve. It's ok. I'm sure another favorite will die soon enough. The Walking Dead returns in February.
