The multiplayer modes for "Anarchy Reigns" are revealed, along with some of the hilarious named fighters in the latest offering from Platinum Games. The studio that took over "Metal Gear: Revengance" presents the various formats for their upcoming game, which features so many characters from the ultra-violent "Madworld" that it almost should be a sequel of sorts.
At the height of the multiplayer experience, "Anarchy" boasts 16 players for a Battle Royale mode, but there's also general Death Match, Cage Match and even a Survival mode where three players go against general villains in a set time period. The frenetic battles are captured by the eccentric cast, including Platinum's other iconic character Bayonetta, wield everything from rifles to sateillite lasers handled by a few taps on a tablet.
The brawler--that even hints at story in the above multiplayer trailer--is set for a July 3rd release in North America.
