The weekend has arrived, meaning mysterious Destiny merchant Xur is back, as well. The vendor is the only one in the game to sell exotic weapons, and every week is different than the last.

Xur is always in a new location from one week to the next, and his stock differs every time. He appears on Friday and departs (usually early) on Sunday, offering one exotic armor item for each class, an exotic weapon, and an exotic engram to gamble on. Xur is currently located in the Vanguard room down the center staircase this week.

Two of the three armor pieces on sale this week are returning items from the original game, not The Dark Below additions. They are The Armamentarium, Achlyophage Symbiote, with the newer item being the Claws of Ahamkara. The exotic weapon for today is sniper rifle No Land Beyond, which can be equipped as a primary weapon but fires quite slowly. The armor costs 13 Strange Coins as always, while the sniper is 17 and the Exotic Shard is seven.

Now that we're post-expansion, Xur has a selection of items to upgrade in addition to his normal wares--the new list you see in his inventory is not simply gear for sale. You need the original weapon or armor piece to trade in for an upgrade, an Exotic Shard, and some Glimmer--this is meant to keep original exotics relevant and up to par with the new gear.

These are the items available for upgrade this week: Crest of Alpha Lupi, Young Ahamkara's Spine, Helm of Saint-14, Helm of Inmost Light, Heart of Praxic Fire, Sunbreakers, Suros Regime, Red Death, Last Word, Thunderlord, Super Good, Gjallarhorn, and Hawk Moon.
