After proving twice that they know how to run a Kickstarter campaign with the best of them and delivering above and beyond their promises, Harebrained Schemes is coming back next month with a third project. For a little while they've been teasing a new Kickstarter project to fund a new setting in Shadowrun Returns, their first and most successful game.

They've teased it with an image that showed a familiar city and today they've confirmed it- the next project will be Shadowrun Hong Kong.

Now the Shadowrun Returns and its expansion Dragonfall took place in Seattle and Berlin (the latter decided after a vote from Kickstarter backers) respectively, so this should offer an entirely new setting, with new characters and challenges to deal with.

There's no word on anything concrete just yet but they have released two wallpapers for Shadowrun Hong Kong that can pretty up your desktop. You can get it both with or without text.

If you've somehow missed out on Shadowrun Returns, what are you waiting for? The first expansion Shadowrun: Dragonfall - Director's Cut improves the already-great game and really is a must-buy. Who wouldn't love an awesome isometric strategy game brimming with cybernetics, magic and mercenaries? No one I'd want to hang out with, that's who.

Keep it tuned here for more info on the Kickstarter campaign when it launches in January.
