First, when deciding how to deploy one’s troops, remember that balance is key. Bunching them all together lays the groundwork for a massive strike, while spreading them all out will do nothing to hurt your opponent.

The first of three attacks faces a bunching problem - as well as many other issues that stem from it. A lavaloonian attack fails almost as soon as it begins, with the hounds and balloons practically on top of one another. Add in a few poorly placed freeze spells and a rage spell that does nothing and it’s a rousing defeat that even the Heroes cannot salvage.

The second assault of the video is a non-Jump GoWiPe attack. He compensated with a lot of Wall Breakers, but as we learn, Wall Breakers can be destroyed and if they don’t make it through the inner walls, you risk your troops spreading out and getting picked off one by one. It’s a valiant effort that very nearly ends with a 1-star victory, but alas, it was never meant to be.
