The Walking Dead Season 5 Spoilers: Top Five Possible Changes For Coming Half Season
The Walking Dead is currently on mid-season break. There are a ton of rumors and speculation surrounding the show's return. We've listed the top five to help fans stay on track. Spoilers below.
1. Character Aaron From the Comics Will Be Present
Aaron is a big deal in the comic and helps the gang make it to Alexandria Safe Zone. His presence was hinted at by creator, Robert Kirkman. The hint pretty much solidifies that this is where the group is heading. Even so, it's not confirmed, but the source is pretty solid.
2. Morgan's Coming
This has been hinted at in various episodes for a while now. Although the man has not met up with the main cast yet, we've seen him tracking them and following their movements. The whole thing would probably be a lot easier if he and Rick still had those walkie talkies. Still, once he catches up, his inclusion in the group could signal a change in dynamics for Team Rick.
3. The Villains Will Be The Whisperers OR Negan
Both of these characters are pretty big in the comic and both have pros and cons as far as being the coming baddie. The Whisperers will be more in line with the coming of Morgan however, Negan wraps up nicely with the Alexandria Safe Zone.
4. Maggie Gets Majorly Bummed Out
After the events of the mid-season finale, namely the death of Beth, Maggie may follow her comic namesake into a very dark place that ends up in suicide. There have been various references in interviews with actors and production that this second half of the season will see a much darker turn for the characters.
5. Rick Descends into Darkness, Carl Comes into the Spotlight
Maggie isn't the only one who gets a personality change, Rick will supposedly see a darker turn in the coming half season as well making him almost villainous. His moral compass is getting a little shaky. Meanwhile, Carl may see more screen time and more plot development than he has in the past. How the father son dynamic changes between them may become key to the story.
