Second Battlefield Hardline Beta Coming To All Platforms With No Level Cap

EA and DICE have announced that the second Battlefield Hardline beta will be open to all players on every platform- PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360. Not only that, it will offer you a deeper glimpse into the game than ever before.

While it will only offer a couple of maps and modes, it won't cap the progression level, allowing you to unlock a good majority of the different features and gadgets from the full game. They make a point to note that this is just a taste what the game will have to offer, however. Not every feature will be included.

The two maps included are Downtown and Dust Bowl, and both will offer you the cops vs robber gameplay that the people in the first beta enjoyed. There are two modes included as well, included the brand new Hotwire, which sees both cops and robbers rushing to marked cars. It looks like an absolute blast, a wonderful heist mode for the game that looks incredibly fast and frantic.

Battlefield favorite mode Conquest returns as well, offering up staggering 64-player matches, now with teams representing criminals and the law- two different kinds of armies than Battlefield fans are used to, but still the same concept.

The lack of a max progression level means that you'll be able to try every different class as both sides and progress each one as far as you can to play with new abilities and gadgets, and the open beta means that it will be that much easier to get your friends in on your gang.

There's no set release date for the beta just yet but we'll let you know when we hear it.

Battlefield Hardline itself will release on all platforms on March 17, 2015.
