Destiny Crota's End Hard Mode Releasing Tomorrow Morning, Update Will Also Remove Another Raid Exploit

The Hard Mode For Destiny's Crota's End Raid Is Launching Tomorrow, Another Exploit Has Been Fixed

The long-awaited Hard Mode for Destiny's Crota's End Raid is finally on the way, set to update into the game tomorrow morning.

Classic Star Wars Games Available On GOG, Including Battlefront 2 And Galactic Battlegrounds

Bungie has left the additions made by the higher difficulty level a mystery, only hinting at the general challenges it will add to the game's second raid. The concrete facts we do have come in the form of brief patch notes, which explain some of the changes (including another exploit fix) that we'll see tomorrow.

Bungie will tell us when the update will go live after 10 a.m. Pacific, so it's likely going to be around or soon after that time. The game requires players to log out before the update can take place, so be ready to download when it goes live if you want to take one of the first cracks at Crota's End Hard Mode.

Released Date Announced For Gorgeous Indie Title Ori And The Blind Forest

The bug that allows players to de-spawn enemies after activating plates at the bridge encounter in Crota's End has been removed--sorry cheese lovers. Bungie also fixed a bug that sometimes caused Crota to stop summoning Oversouls. As for what gameplay challenges the new Crota's End will pose, this is all Bungie had to say when it announced Hard Mode:

"I can't give you a playbook for how to end Crota this time," said Bungie Community Manager DeeJ. "You don't need my help, anyway. If you've experienced Hard Mode in Vault of Glass, you have some clues for how we can scale up a Raid. Prepare to take better care of your teammates. You'll have fewer options for healing yourself, and each other. The enemies you're about to face are stronger and more prone to temper tantrums. Be brave!"
