Our Top Ten List For The Best Of ComiXology Submit

ComiXology is all about getting comics to readers, which is why in addition to their main site, they also have ComiXology Submit, the platform that allows Indie creators to submit their titles directly to their audience. They've released their top 25 for 2015 and we've got ten good ones for you to look into.

1. Lady Mechanika #1

Looking for some Steampunk goodness with a strong female lead? Look no further. The comic is the first in a series about a woman with mechanical limbs and mysterious past. When a corpse like herself is found, she sets out to solve the mystery and hopefully, get some answers for herself.

2. The Sleep of Reason

This horror anthology collects some stories from some of the best independent artists working today. Don't expect tired old conventions of scary. These creators have cooked up nightmares that linger in the everyday. Don't expect a light at the end of the tunnel.

3. Leaving Megalopolis

What happens when heroes go rouge? This book is a look at what becomes of a populace when the people who are supposed to protect you, turn against you. The people of the city make a mad dash to escape, the only way to survive.

4. Testament: Omnibus

This award winning comic book combines themes from the biblical past and the future to tell a story with a single message: History repeats itself. The book tells a twisting story to it's satisfying conclusion.

5. Requiem Vampire Knight Vol. 1 Resurrection

This is the first book in the series that follows Requiem, a vampire knight damned to serve under Dracula in a twisted version of Hell. In the world of Resurrection, time runs backwards and even the good guys are bad guys.

6. Saga of a Doomed Universe #1

This book is the story of a superhero. The least likely superhero of all. He fights his way against all odds to be the top. But there's a twist, there's a reason why he was never meant to be a super in the first place. This 80s comic is back in print, digitally that is.

7. Anne Bonnie #1

This little comic follows a pirate as she journeys on her magical ship chasing adventure and excitement. Not as heavy hitting as some of the other books on our list but everyone needs a story that's just a good time.

8. The Package

This is a gangster comic, plain and simple. There are no super heroes, there's moral ambiguity. It is only kill or be killed. A hitman goes to do a job and in a change of fate, it turns out he is the job. He must kill his employer or the bomb sewn to his chest goes boom.

9. The Reservoir

This is a western that follows a family as they set out to cut themselves out a piece of the American Dream in the untamed country side of Texas in the early 19 hundreds. This book is violent, like life back then. No punches pulled.

10. Template: The Complete First Season

We started with Steampunk and we're ending with Cyberpunk. This book follows the creation of a perfect android solider and her struggles to find meaning In herself and existence. Expect action and intrigue.
