Destiny Xur Gear And Location Today, January 30 To February 1: Exotic Rocket Launcher, Two Repeat Armor Pieces On Sale

Here's Where You Can Find Xur In Destiny This Weekend

The weekend has arrived, meaning mysterious Destiny merchant Xur is back, as well. The vendor is the only one in the game to sell exotic weapons, and every week is different than the last.

Our Guide To Destiny's Best Exotic Weapons

This week Xur is in Tower North, at the back between where you find the Shader vendor and the Speaker. He's in a new location from one week to the next, and his stock differs every time. Xur appears on Friday (4 a.m. Eastern) and departs overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

The Best Legendary Weapons In Destiny Across Each Gun Type

Xur always sells three exotic armor pieces--one for each class--and an exotic weapon. Since The Dark Below's release, Xur also offers an Exotic Shard, which is needed to upgrade gold weapons from the pre-expansion game, and an Exotic Gauntlet Engram. Here's the gear on sale this weekend, which disappointing includes two of the same offerings as last week:

Titan Armor: MK. 44 Stand Asides Leg Armor

Hunter Armor: Don't Touch Me Gauntlets

Warlock Armor: Starfire Protocol Chest Armor

Exotic Weapon: Dragon's Breath Rocket Launcher

In post-The Dark Below Destiny, Xur has a selection of items to upgrade in addition to his normal wares--the new list you see in his inventory is not simply gear for sale. You need the original weapon or armor piece to trade in for an upgrade, an Exotic Shard, and some Glimmer--this is meant to keep original exotics gained before the expansion relevant and up to par with the new gear.

These are the exotic weapons and armor available for upgrade: Mask of the Third Man, Young Ahamkara's Spine, Helm of Inmost Light, Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan), Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Sunbreakers, SUROS Regime, Thorn, Universal Remote, Pocket Infinity, Ice Breaker, and Super Good Advice.
