Goat Simulator iOS Version Updated With Video Recording Feature: Easily Share Videos Of All The Insanity

Goat Simulator Updated With Video Recording Feature

Goat Simulator has just received a minor update that's put in place one major feature- video recording.

Now while playing the game there's a little recording icon on top of the screen. Tap it and the game will start recording your video in the background until you tap it again, and then your gameplay can be shared with ease. This brand new feature only went online today but it's already getting used to great effect, as not only can you share it with your own friends, but the videos get put online along with all the other Goat Simulator videos.

This has immediately led to players shooting little videos showing off hidden areas of the game- how to get certain locked goat characters or trophies, or simply hidden easer eggs. There's that and, of course, just general goat chaos. It's what the game does best, after all.

It's yet more proof that Coffee Stain Studios plans to make the mobile version catch up with its original version as much as possible, fostering a community along the way.

On top of the recording feature they have lowered the size of the app by a tiny amount, from 134 MB to 126 MB. It's nothing that's going to let you install another game but it's nice to see it not bloating up update by update. They have also corrected the issue with support for Japanese and Russian fonts.

Goat Simulator is currently available for $4.99 in the Apple and Google Play stores, although Android users haven't received this latest update just yet.
