“Temple Run” gets a Disney sequel

If you're as addicted to Temple Run as I am, then you already know how awesome that game is. Its popularity has soared, and after being released on Android a few months ago, it was downloaded 1 million times in less than 3 days. It has been announced that a sequel, Temple Run Brave, will be coming to iOS and Android.

Temple Run is an action game developed and published by Imangi Studios. Upon stealing an idol from an ancient temple, the player must guide the running explorer to sprint around each corner, jump over blockades, slide under objects in the way, collect coins as you go, and most importantly avoid the demonic monkeys chasing you! It's a fast-paced game that really gets your thumb moving and your eyes focused on the screen.

The upcoming Disney Pixar film "Brave" stars the young Merida who is a skilled archer and daughter of King Fergus and Queen Elinor. As princess she is faced with many restrictions but is determined to live her own life. In the upcoming Temple Run Brave you can see the red-haired princess being chased by a ferocious demon bear named Mordu.

Unlike the original Temple Run though, Temple Run Brave won't be free and will instead cost 99¢. You'll get an instant 2500 coin bonus for the price, however.

Look for this game in the Google Play App Store starting on June 14.
