Mortal Kombat X doesn't launch until April, but that hasn't stopped the developers from letting you know what it will take to run the game.

The official system requirements have been posted to the game's Steam page, listing both the minimum and recommended specs. Neither of them are too unreasonable, and even the recommended hardware isn't unrealistic for most users who'd play a game like this on PC in the first place. Without further ado:

Minimum

- OS: 64-bit: Vista, Win 7, Win 8

- Processor: Intel Core i5-750, 2.67 GHz | AMD Phenom II X4 965, 3.4 GHz

- Memory: 3 GB RAM

- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 | AMD Radeon HD 5850

- DirectX: Version 11

- Network: Broadband Internet connection

- Hard Drive: 25 GB available space

Recommended

- OS: 64-bit: Win 7, Win 8

- Processor: Intel Core i7-3770, 3.4 GHz | AMD FX-8350, 4.0 GHz

- Memory: 8 GB RAM

- Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 | AMD Radeon HD 7950

- DirectX: Version 11

- Network: Broadband Internet connection

- Hard Drive: 40 GB available space

The game was recently featured on Conan, where Seattle Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch faced off against New England Patriots tight end Rob Gronkowski in a lengthy, amusing skit. Mortal Kombat X is set to launch on April 14 for PC, PS4, PS3, Xbox One, and Xbox 360.
