American Horror Story News And Spoilers: Murder House Meets Freak Show Through Science?

Glass Jars May Be A Connection Between Seasons Of American Horror Story

American Horror Story has a lot of connections between seasons, some of these are very obvious such as the appearance of Pepper in two seasons but others are much more understated. There may be a tie between season four and season one that has been completely overlooked.

American Horror Story Is Coming Back For Season 5 But Will Dandy Come Too?

Part of the driving plotline for season four was that the American Morbidity Museum was buying the bodies (or just parts) of freaks as quick as they could get their hands on them. Which is why conman Stanley was murdering and chopping them off of the freaks to begin with.

In the beginning we learn that the museum has been failing because they haven't had any new specimens in quite some time. We also learn that they're not so picky about where they get their displays from.

Freak Show Was A Failure, Here Are Five Reasons Why

Don't ask, don't tell is their motto. What horrible people.

Think back to season one of the show. One Charles Montgomery in particular. He had a little bit of a penchant for getting creative with body parts. And then storing them glass jars. At least one of his creations regained life. So it's fair to say that his work would be convincing at best.

He died in the 1920s but since he died in Murder House, he didn't stay down. As late as 1947 he was still making appearances to "help" the new residents of the house.

Montgomery wouldn't have been selling fake freaks but what if other owners of the house were? There's nothing saying that they did not, in desperate times, start sending off the monstrosities to the museum to turn a quick buck. It was still operational in 1952 and so was Murder House.

And with Charles still working in the basement, there would always be more. Perhaps Dr. Hans Gruber was a fan of his.
