New Ghostbusters Merchandise Premiering At Toy Fair 2015: Board Game, Trading Cards, Minis... Stay Puft Apron?

Cryptozoic Entertainment recently shocked the geek community with the announcement of a Kickstarter campaign to produce an officially licensed Ghostbusters board game, but now they have revealed that they have many more collectibles on the way, and will be officially premiereing them at The American International Toy Fair.

Ghostbusters: The Board Game is still the most exciting thing they have in the works (and we'll be getting our hands on it this weekend) but it's far from all.

Alongside the game Cryptozoic will be releasing vinyl minis, cookie cutters, and trading cards. Most importantly? They're releasing a Stay Puft Marshmallow Man apron and hat set. If you love someone, you get them that.

“We are excited to collaborate with Sony Pictures Consumer Products to bring Ghostbusters merchandise to life with unique collectibles," said Jeff Parker, Creative Director, Merchandise, in a press release.

There's no real details about any of these yet save the Ghostbuster Trading Cards. Those are old school collectible cards, all the better to pray on your childhood memories, and come five cards to a pack, 24 to a box. There are 63 cards in all and some packs contain inserts such as Autograph cards, Hand-drawn Sketch cards, and The Real Ghostbusters Animation Cel cards. They will also be offering a binder to display them all with the iconic logo on the front. Check here for more.

The vinyl minis will be packaged as a blind box purchase, with variants being including in every set of 12.

These products will be available starting in the third quarter of 2015, with the cookie cutters and board game hitting the fourth quarter.

All of these will be on display at this weekend's Toy Fair as well, so we'll be sure to bring your our impressions.
