Destiny Xur Gear And Location This Weekend, February 27 To March 1: Universal Remote, Heart Of The Praxic Fire On Sale

Xur's Gear And Location In Destiny For February 27 Through March 1 Includes Universal Remote, Heart Of The Praxic Fire

The weekend has arrived, meaning mysterious Destiny merchant Xûr is back, as well. The vendor is the only one in the game to sell exotic weapons, and every week is different than the last.

Our Open Letter To Xur After Selling No Land Beyond Once Again

This week Xûr is in Tower North, all the way at the back straight from where you enter the area. He's in a new location from one week to the next, and his stock differs every time. Xûr appears on Friday (4 a.m. Eastern) and departs overnight between Saturday and Sunday.

The Best Legendary Weapons In Destiny Across Each Gun Type

Xûr always sells three exotic armor pieces--one for each class--and an exotic weapon. Since The Dark Below's release, Xûr also offers an Exotic Shard, which is needed to upgrade Exotic weapons to their final tier, and he's selling an Exotic Helmet Armor Engram. Here's the gear on sale this weekend:

Titan Armor: No Backup Plans

Hunter Armor: ATS/8 Arachnid

Warlock Armor: Heart of the Praxic Fire

Exotic Weapon: Universal Remote

In post-The Dark Below Destiny, Xûr has a selection of items to upgrade in addition to his normal wares--the new list you see in his inventory is not simply gear for sale. You need the original weapon or armor piece to trade in for an upgrade, an Exotic Shard, and some Glimmer--this is meant to keep original exotics gained before the expansion relevant and up to par with the new gear.

These are the exotic weapons and armor available for upgrade: Achylophage Symbiote, Mask of the Third Man, An Insurmountable Skullfort, Crest of Alpha Lupi (Titan), Skull of Dire Ahamkara, Voidfang Vestments, Bad Juju, Thorn, Invective, Universal Remote, Thunderlord, Super Good Advice, and Monte Carlo.
