Turtle Rock and 2K Games have released brand new screens for two free maps coming for Evolve players, new locations that will change up the the game completely.
The 'Broken Hill Mine' and 'Broken Hill Foundry' maps will be completely free for all owners, but the Xbox One will be getting it first this March 31. PC and PS3 gamers will have to be patient (although envious) until April 30, when it will become available on their platforms. Certainly won't make a lot of fans happy to hear this, but at least it will be free.
Both maps offer new campaign effects that take place when playing through Evolve's Evacuation campaign, which as any player will tell you is the only real way to play it. Lets take a closer look at these maps.
The Broken Hill Mine:
We have to say, it's great to see Evolve trying out new locations. Variety in maps is one of the things that's sorely missing from the main game, and the inclusion of the spectator mode (as well as all the planned DLC content) will help to ensure it thrives the community thrives in the future.
You can tune into Twitch today at 4:00 p.m. PT and on Friday at 3:00 p.m. PT to see the maps in action.
