Marvel Comic News And Rumors: 33 Books To Be Cancelled With 'Secret Wars'
True Believers, have a seat. There are some harsh realities that we need to deal with about the Marvel Universe. Namely the end of it. By this point, most fans of the comic publisher are aware that with the beginning of Secret Wars is the end of the Marvel Universe as we know it. We now have a list of 33 comics who will not be surviving the cull.
This isn't really a bad thing and a quick look at the list of titles says one main thing, Marvel is cutting titles to get rid of redundancy.
One of the things that Marvel has always done is have slew of spin offs that are their own sort of story but tie into the main team arc. Sometimes these work really great and some of those story lines have been extremely well written but more often than not, it just clogs fans pull lists.
Don't worry however, all these lines will have an ending. They'll be wrapping up over the next few months. They won't just leave you hanging like season six of Oz. It's been over a decade HBO, what up?
If you're wondering how the new series will work out, you'll see three lines in your comic book stores David Gabriel, Marvel's SVP of Sales and Marketing explained to Comicbook.
These lines are Last Days, Battleworld and Warzones. Gabriel wraps up the concept nicely.
"Another short and easy way to remember that: LAST DAYS are the Past, BATTLEWORLD is the present, and WARZONES! are the future."
Check out the full list of cancelations below. Don't fret. Though these comics are ending, it's the only the beginning of something great.
