Join The Clash Of Civilization With 'DomiNations', The New F2P Mobile Strategy Title

Brian Reynolds. If that name isn't familiar, it's only because that other guy - Sid Meier - gets all the credit. Reynolds, a longtime Civilization designer and industry veteran, has launched a new F2P mobile app, DomiNations.

New Mii Street Pass Games Announced For 3DS!

Think of it as 'Clash of Civilization'. It plays basically the same as Clash of Clans with all the pros and cons that entails (lockout timers, a price on everything, etc), but the big difference is that you're no longer bound to just a generic Celtic tribe of warriors: players will choose to lead one of the world's greatest nations including the British, Romans, Chinese, Germans, French, Japanese, and Greeks. Each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses.

Civilization, lite. "We've built DomiNations from the ground up to combine the in-depth strategy gameplay we've been creating for over 20 years with a fast, fun, and tactical experience customized for mobile devices," said Brian Reynolds, Creative Director for DomiNations.

Lead your armies to victory on the backs of some of history's greatest figures - Cleopatra, Napoleon and Alexander the Great to name but a few - while unlocking the Wonders of the World, monuments to your victory. Construct over 100 upgradable buildings while managing resources, economy and of course, your enemies. Put them to the sword or watch as they do.

"The robust single player experience in DomiNations will lead players on a campaign from the Fertile Crescent to World War II and beyond. The multiplayer mode will let players wage war against opponents from around the world while also joining alliances to cooperatively crush their enemies."

You can download DomiNations for iOS and Google Play right now. Watch the launch trailer below.
