Super Smash Bros Mewtwo DLC Now Available For Free To Registered Club Nintendo Members, On Sale April 28

Mewtwo Is Now Available In Super Smash Bros For Registered Club Ninendo Members

Today is the day, loyal Super Smash Bros players: Mewtwo has arrived in the game for certain Club Nintendo members.

Destiny's House Of Wolves Will Have No Raid, But A New Arena Mode & Upgradeable Legendaries

Anyone who purchased Super Smash Bros on both Wii U and 3DS (and subsequently registered their copies with Club Nintendo in the past) are now free to download Mewtwo as a playable fighter. Those eligible should be finding codes in their associated email accounts.

For those of you who can't get the new fighter for free, Mewtwo will be released for purchase on April 28 for $3.99 on one system and $4.99 for the character on both. This is the first time a character has been available for purchase in a Super Smash Bros game, and I have a feeling it will end up being a pretty popular option.

Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate Ships 1 Million Copies

Lucas will be the next character added to the game, and Nintendo could really continue on offering new fighters like this forever. And they probably will--there's an open ballot online to write in suggestions for the most desired characters. The possibilities are nearly endless (within reason), and Nintendo could pull from its own choices and fan suggestions (while making money in the process) for years to come. Further, Mewtwo and Lucas will be getting their own amiibo figures, which will only keep the money rolling in.
