Nordic Games has announced that Legend of Kay: Anniversary- a remastered of the 10-year-old game- will be released this Summer.
The PS2 original Legend of Kay was so well received that a Nintendo DS version was developed soon after. That one was much less well received and fans feared that it might be it for the adventures of their favorite cat martial artist, but this Anniversary Edition is giving hope for the future. The Anniversary edition is coming to Wii U, PS4, Xbox 360, PS3, PC, and Mac, (sorry, Xbox One players) and will retail between USD/EUR 19.99 and 29.99 depending on platform.
In the game you play as the titular character, a kung-fu fighting cat who is equally adept with his paws and his weaponry. The original was praised for its combination of great fighting gameplay and platforming action as you saw Kay fight against the gorillas that are orpressing his cat people.
