'Harvest Moon The Lost Valley' DLC: Two New Free Content Packs Adding Crops, Recipes And Flowers Available Now

Two New DLC Packs Plant Themselves In 'Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley'; Free For A Limited Time

Natsume has released not one but two new entirely free DLC packs for its 3DS title Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley.

You should download them soon, for they won't stay free forever. Both the Crop/Recipe and the Flower packs will be free until May 19, and $0.99 afterwards "and like all crops, these will have mutations to discover and experiment with!"

To get you excited, Natsume has released a wealth of new screenshots outlining the new features of the content. You can find them below.

After downloading the packs, players can expect to find new crops at Sam's Shop, new flowers at Iris's place (I see what you did there, Natsume) and recipes over at Hanna's. However, more than just new elements to play with, you can also get your heart fluttering, for love is in the spring air. "Players can look forward to a romantic summer with some extra surprises coming later in June!"

"These free downloadable content packs are our gift to fans for their support of the game," said Hiro Maekawa, President and CEO at Natsume. "We're excited to provide the kind of new content that fans have been asking for, and we have much more in store with a big DLC pack coming in mid-June, including new characters and outfits!"

It should be noted that while The Lost Valley does bear the moniker of the Harvest Moon series, it is not actually an official entry into the Bokujō Monogatari franchise (its Japanese name). It is still a fun title, bearing many of the hallmarks of the many HM games in the past, but purists should be cautious.

Harvest Moon: The Lost Valley is available for 3DS in North America and Europe.
