Weekly Video Game Release Schedule, May 4: 'Shadow Of Mordor GOTY Edition', 'Wolfenstein: The Old Blood' & More

Releasing This Week: 'Shadow Of Mordor GOTY Edition', 'Wolfenstein: The Old Blood', 'Ultratron' & More

There are plenty of titles on the way this month, bringing gamers a mix of new properties, sequels, and re-releases. The first week of May is a good example of that, with major titles like a Shadow of Mordor game of the year edition and indie title Ultratron launching alongside one another. Here is the release schedule for this week:

May 5

Ether One (PS4): This haunting, first-person puzzler tasks you with restoring the minds of the mentally ill by solving complex puzzles and sewing together the frayed strands of the patient's lives. It's one of the free PS Plus titles this month, if you're a subscriber.

Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor GOTY Edition (Xbox One, PS4, PC): The award-winning action RPG is getting a Game of The Year Edition following its many accolades. It will include all the DLC released so far, meaning more skins, runes, missions, and more all packaged at no extra cost.

Shin Megami Tensei Devil Survivor 2: Record Breaker (3DS): The Japanese tactical RPG is on the way from Atlus this month, with fully voiced English dialogue and over 100 hours of gameplay.

Wolfenstein: The Old Blood (Xbox One, PS4, PC): Following Wolfenstein: The New Order's surprise acclaim last year, MachineGames and Bethesda are back with a stand-alone expansion, which will serve as a prequel to The New Order.

May 6

High Strangeness (Wii U, PC): The 12-bit, trans-dimensional adventure title will hit both Steam and Wii U this month.

May 8

Ultratron (Xbox One): Ever want to get your brain implanted into an upgradeable droid and avenge the human race? Well, you're in luck--the Steam title from 2013 is hitting all consoles this month, starting with Xbox One.
