'Guitar Hero Live' Track List Expands With Broken Bells, Judas Priest, Sleigh Bells, Pantera

Activision has started to roll out the full track list for Guitar Hero Live, adding 11 new tracks to an already-diverse list. This update is mostly harder rock and metal, although there's plenty of indie rock as well. Here are the newly announced Artists and Tracks:

Judas Priest - "Breaking the Law"
Pantera - "Cowboys From Hell"
Alter Bridge - "Cry of Achilles"
Rage Against the Machine - "Guerrilla Radio"
Red Hot Chili Peppers - "Higher Ground"
Sleigh Bells - "Bitter Rivals"
System of a Down - "Chop Suey!"
Black Veil Brides - "In The End"
The Pretty Reckless - "Going to Hell"
Broken Bells - "Leave it Alone"
Alt-J - "Left Hand Free"

These are added to the previously announced list of songs:

The Rolling Stones - "Paint it Black"
My Chemical Romance - "Na Na Na"
Fall Out Boy - "My Songs Know What You Did in the Dark (Light Em Up)"
Green Day - "Nuclear Family"
Pierce the Veil - "King for a Day (feat. Kellin Quinn)"
Blitz Kids - "Sometimes"
The Black Keys - "Gold on the Ceiling"
The Killers - "When You Were Young"
Gary Clark Jr. - "Don't Owe You a Thang"
The War on Drugs - "Under The Pressure"
The Lumineers - "Ho Hey"
Ed Sheeran - "Sing"
Skrillex - "Bangarang"

While we were confused by the necessity of the first person camera, we enjoyed what we played of Guitar Hero Live during the game's reveal event- you can read our full impressions from that here.

But no matter how it looks and plays, a music game lives and dies by its track list. If past games are any indication we can expect many, many more tracks added to these 24 before the game releases, especially since it won't be compatible with past DLC the way that the upcoming Rock Band 4 will be.

More as we hear it!
