Developed by Ubisoft Montreal for PC, PS4 and Xbox One, the next entry in the popular series focuses on Counter-Strike style squad gameplay. The counter-terrorist team must siege a terrorist location, using equipment and weapons to provide surveillance and an access point.
The terrorist side must protect hostages and bolster defenses, predicting where and how the attackers will enter the location--whether it be a base, house, or even plane. Both sides have tools at their disposal to help their tasks, such as a remote control camera car and deployable bullet-proof wall defenses. Ubisoft has also revealed details on the special editions for the game.

The Art of Siege Edition includes the full game, a collector's box, a Gold Skins Pack for all in-game weapons and a 120 page Tactical Guide. This guide includes every key element of the game, detailing each Counter Terrorist Unit, Operators, weapons, and maps with the highest level of detail and statistics. All this content has been created with the development team and core gamers' advice, giving you the most effective results in the field.
The Tactical Elite Edition is a very limited edition available exclusively on the Uplay Shop that will include both Art of Siege Edition and Season Pass. The Gold Edition ($89.99) includes the Standard Edition ($59.99) and the DLC Season Pass. Players who pre-order will get guaranteed access to the closed beta later this year.
