This Week's Nintendo eShop Update Adds'Splatoon', 'Don't Starve: Giant Edition' & More To Wii U

Another week, another Nintendo eShop and Virtual Console update. Nintendo is bringing a selection of new games to its digital stores on both Wii U and 3DS today--let's see what they have on tap.

Call Of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Next DLC Pack, Supremacy, Is Launching June 2

The big release this time around is Wii U's Splatoon, which releases tomorrow, May 29. Splatter enemies and claim your turf as ink-spraying, squid-like Inklings in Nintendo's new mess fest! Challenge players online in chaotic four-on-four turf wars, and unleash squid powers to ink your way to victory. In these all-out online turf wars, you'll need ink blasters, ink rollers, ink bombs and squid power on your side! Every splat of ink you spray gives you a chance to transform into a squid and hide, climb walls or travel at super speed.

Nintendo's exclusive may be taking the spotlight, but another well-known release is hitting Wii U: Don't Starve: Giant Edition is making its way to the system. The survival title has been available on PC for years, and later moved onto other platforms. Fight, farm, craft, scavenge and do whatever it takes to survive in a wilderness filled with science, magic and things that go bump in the night. Randomly generated worlds and the constant threat of permadeath will keep you on your toes. But luckily, your trusty Wii U GamePad controller will be with you to display your inventory and map.

Dragon Age: Inquisition DLC Now Available On PS4, PS3, And Xbox 360

As for Wii U's Virtual Console, four new games are available: Mega Man Battle Network 4 Blue Moon, Mega Man Battle Network 4 Red Sun, Mega Man Zero 3, and Rival Turf!. There are also sales on multiple Wii U and 3DS titles, so head over to the eShop to see if anything interests you.
