Niantic lets gamers in Australia, New Zealand try 'Pokémon Go' beta

Rumor mills are claiming that Niantic will soon start inviting some players from Australia and New Zealand to try out the beta version of the "Pokémon Go" game. The game developer announced that the registration process for the game's beta version will start on Monday.

Potential "Pokémon Go" gamers need to sign up via the Niantic official website before the game developer sends out invitations. Niantic announced the developers of the game will choose the lucky "Pokémon Go" beta players based on these factors: 1) OS type; 2) real world games experience; and 3) an element of luck.  Fortunate players who will be selected experience the game before others will receive a confirmation email that indicates detailed instructions for them to play the game.

Additionally, the players need to have one valid Google account and an iOS or Android-runned device where they can download the game. The lucky players will have to sign a waiver to prevent them from scattering details about the "Pokémon Go" game.

Players from Japan -- who were able to experience the "Pokémon Go" beta version first - found the game very fun and easy to play. However, other gamers are requesting for a quick walk to tutorial guide of the game so they won't be lost.

Called as Pokémon Go Plus, the device will need Bluetooth connection to notify -- via an LED and a light rumble -- the gamers when there is a Pokémon nearby.

Up to now, The Pokémon Company and Niantic did not release any details about the launching of the "Pokémon Go" game. However, several gamers think that "Pokémon Go" will come out later this year.
