‘Clash Royale’ 2016 News & Update: Supercell Set To Release New Patch? Legendary Cards Now Available In Shops?

Several fans have been in bliss when Supercell finally released the much-awaited "Clash Royale" game. Now, new reports are claiming that the successor of "Clash of Clans" is set to launch an update that will make it so much easier for gamers to upgrade and get Epic and Legendary cards.

Below are the things players should expect in the forthcoming "Clash Royal" update:

1. "Clash Royale" brings max level gameplay closer to tournament rules. One of the major changes in the upcoming "Clash Royale" update is the tweaks to its gameplay. Supercell divulged via its official website that the card caps will be adjusted to make the max level gameplay closer to the tournament rules.

  • Common level cap: 13 (from 12)
  • Epic level cap: 8 (stays the same)
  • King level cap: 13 (from 12)
  • Legendary level cap: 5 (from 6)
  • Rare level cap: 11 (from 10)

2. Players can buy "Clash Royale" legendary cards in the shop. The upcoming update of the "Clash Royale" game will let its players purchase legendary cards in the shop. However, it is important to note that this does not mean it will be available anytime; so, players should be careful.

Apart from that, Supercell also promised that they will be changing how the gold cost of cards increases as player levels up. We're also re-working the Gold cost of cards in the Shop to scale in a linear fashion (i.e. 20, 40, 60, 80) - and not exponentially as it currently does (i.e. 40, 56, 78, 109) - making them much more reasonably priced overall."

3. "Clash Royale" game's epic card upgrade cost will be reduced. Fans were also told to expect that they will only be needing 200 epic cards in order to upgrade from level 7 to level 8, which is much lesser than the required 300 epic cards at present. Moreover, Supercell also divulged that players who invested on upgrades before this upcoming update will receive corresponding gem refunds especially to players with level 6 legendary cards or level 8 epics.

Meanwhile, Supercell has remained silent as to when this "Clash Royale" update will be available for the gamers to enjoy. Though the game company predicts everything will be finished early next month, no one can confirm anything as of yet.
