'GTA 6' News, Location & Release Date: Grand Theft Auto 6 To Be Set In Japan? 'GTA 5' Still The Best Game For Rockstar

Recent reports that Rockstar is starting to work on the Grand Theft Auto 6 with a new location in mind, Tokyo. However, developers for "GTA 6" is still uncertain whether the location really is the right place for the game.

A news released by Techradar mentioned that Rockstar went to Japan to see a potential location and assess if the area can be created for a GTA game. Reports claim that Rockstar is thinking about creating "GTA Tokyo" at the same time of "GTA Vice City" which was made over ten years ago.

It may be very difficult for Rockstar to move "GTA" outside the country because this would mean that developers have to change a number of important details about the game. This would include the brands of the cars, its fake brands, and even the tone of the game will be affected, Alphr reported.

Although there are no updates yet on the most current location for "Grand Theft Auto" it is certain that "GTA 6" is now on its first stages. Fans of the "GTA" series will expect a lot from the new game since it has been two years since "GTA 5."

"GTA 5" is one of the most best-selling video games with Rockstar earning $800 million on its first day and $1 billion in its first three days. So it is just normal for most of those anticipating for "GTA 6" to know more about the details about the upcoming game as much as they can.

While there are no news yet about its possible release, a lot of reports are speculating that "GTA 6 will be launched for PS4 and Xbox One this 2017.
