'Clash of Clans' Update Brings Baby Dragon & Miner, Introduces Skeleton & Clone Spells & More

Supercell just released the recent "Clash of Clans" update this May sure to be a welcome news to all "Clash of Clans" players. The recent update brings two new troops, cool spells and tons of improvements to make one's "Clash of Clans" experience even better.

First, the new troops. The latest "Clash of Clans" update this May brings two new troops to the game which should offer exciting possible game plays. Debuting this May is the new Baby Dragon and the Miner.

"Clash of Clans" players who also play the other Supercell game "Clash Royale," would recognize the two new troops made available by May's "Clash of Clans" update. The new Baby Dragon and the Miner in the updated "Clash of Clans" have similar abilities to their "Clash Royale" counterparts, reports Design&Trend.

Baby Dragon

Baby Dragons are now available in the "Clash of Clans" update. They are excellent offensive units if the player knows how to deploy them.

They are actually more effective when deployed solo, becoming more powerful if they are the only air unit around. However, Baby Dragons have this peculiar limitation that if one drops several of these units, they become less effective.

Baby Dragon is available to players whose Town Hall level has reached 9. They require 10 storage units and is actually the first Elixir troop added to "Clash of Clans " in four years.

The Miner

The Miner can be a very good attack unit due to its special ability. In this "Clash of Clans" update, Miners have the ability to dig underground, escaping damage from enemy defenses. Another useful Miner ability is that it can still absorb spell buffs even when underground.

Miners will be unlocked once a player's "Clash of Clans" Town Hall reaches level 10. The offensive troop needs 5 storage units.

Exciting new Spells

The "Clash of Clans" update also brings two new spell players will surely love. "Clash of Clans" blog, announces two new spells available to players who have updated their "Clash of Clans": the Skeleton Spell and the Clone Spell.

According to the release, the Skeleton Spell allows a player to summon an army of skeletons to aid in the raid. The spell requires a level 9 "Clash of Clans" Town Hall to be unlocked. It should be interesting to see just how effective this spell is in actual combat.

Another interesting new spell introduced in the recent "Clash of Clans" update is the Clone Spell. The description in the "Clash of Clans" blog was not too specific; only that the spells "create a circle of spawning" will most likely create copies of one's deployed army although a time-limited version of the original.

The spell is limited by the number of maximum housing space, so maybe a good strategy for this to be more effective is to maximize storage or housing capacity in one's base. The spell unlocks when the player's "Clash of Clans" Town Hall reaches level 10.

Other Updates

There were numerous updated features that came with the "Clash of Clans" update this May. For instance, a level 11 Town Hall now allows the construction of a level 14 Cannon, a level 4 Lava Hound as well as a level 7 Balloon
