The 2008 action-adventure platform video game, "Mirror Edge, is set to have a total reboot this 2016 called "Mirror's Edge Catalyst." However, the upcoming title will still carry the same theme and concept the previous game has.

'Mirror's Edge Catalyst'

"Mirror's Edge Catalyst" will be all the same single-person video game with multiplayer mode. Faith will still be the protagonist of the parkour-inspired game in the city of Glass, according to NDTV Gadgets360.

Faith will continue running to bring illegal supplies in the place governed by tyrannical rulers in "Mirror's Edge Catalyst." The title has said to be an open-world game.

In a review made by NDTV Gadgets360, it said that "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" seems to be erratic. In the demo game for Xbox One, it has a steady frame rate that gives a number of rough displays with poor resolution quality.

Moreover, the conversation in "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" looks a little off with its cheesy lines. It also carries noticeably unlovable individuals that the players might hate.

Graphical Alternatives

However, "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" is equipped with graphical choices that the gamers might use, but as per Game Revolution, it didn't solve the concern. The options include turning off VSync and navigating into NVIDIA's control panel.

Through this, the player has the control to modify the maximum pre-rendered frames to 1 from its default settings. But, some assume that it will look better on "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" PlayStation 4 and PC versions.

Freebies For EA Access Members

Meanwhile, EA Access members have the privilege to experience "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" earlier than its official release date on June 17. They have the chance to discover the two massive cities and play 10 of Faith's assignments.

But, the members just have six hours to finish the entire mission in six hours, as per Australia Network News. The clock will start to tick once the gamers are playing "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" and stops when it is not being played.

The players can even save their developments in the "Mirror's Edge Catalyst" trial game and continue the adventure in full on its release. EA Access members' can also buy the title with 10 percent off on the digital purchase.
