‘Watch Dogs 2’ Trailer, News & Update: Trailer Leaked Night Before Debut, Game To Feature New Protagonist And City

The trailer for "Watch Dogs 2" has been leaked the night before it was supposed to come out. Ubisoft has planned for its big countdown surprise this afternoon.

Grand Countdown Ruined For 'Watch Dogs 2'

Polygon reported that the trailer for the much-anticipated "Watch Dogs 2" leaked last night, spoiling the big announcement that was supposed to happen today.

As a result, Ubisoft had issued notices to the different video hosting sites to take down the trailer. Despite the efforts, the trailer has been widely spread since it was leaked.

Based on the trailer, the new hacking adventure will take place in San Francisco, Nerdist described. Aside from a new city, the protagonist will no longer be Aiden Pearce.

"Watch Dogs 2" will have a new star; African American DedSec hacker from San Francisco named Marcus Holloway. Holloway exhibits excellent skills in hacking, parkour and art of combat, Highsnobiety added.

In "Watch Dogs 2," he teams up with underground hacker group called DedSec to hunt corrupt individuals who control the Bay Area.

Feedback For 'Watch Dogs 2'

According to reports, the new "Watch Dogs 2" is more or less about the same as its predecessor only with more polish and refined gameplay mechanics.

Continuing the stunning visuals from the first game, "Watch Dogs 2" appears real-like as ever.

Ubisoft confirms online co-op along with invasions and promises gamers with seamless integration. The game developer also said that "Watch Dogs 2" will feature powerful tricks to the delight of many fans.

Since the first game came out, they have been requesting more robust hacking abilities. In fact, Marcus' weapon is an improvised flail made from a pool ball and lanyard. It may look a little silly but it proves effective in the game.

"Watch Dogs 2" will be available on PS4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs on November 15, 2016. Watch the longer trailer below.
