The second episode of "Outcast" is expected to be just as disturbing and brilliant as the pilot episode. But what can fans expect from "I Remember When She Loved Me?" It looks like Kyle Barnes (Patrick Fugit) will take a walk down his twisted memory lane to learn more about his mother.
But was Sarah Barnes simply trying to protect her adoptive son from the demons inside her?
"Outcast" Episode 2 Preview Reveals "Happier Times"
ComicBook has just found the haunting new clips from "Outcast" Episode 2. The first preview has a rather misleading title: "Happier Times."
The clip is clearly a flashback of Kyle's childhood, where his mother Sarah is still a happy soul. The two even play around in their yard, with Sarah spraying Kyle with water from a garden hose.
Unfortunately, the scene doesn't remain cheerful for long. Sarah suddenly sees a disturbing vision that makes her fall to her knees.
Kyle then witnesses the first time his mother turns from a smiling lady to a mud-eating woman.
But what exactly happened to Sarah Barnes? Was she randomly possessed by a demon, or was it a direct target to Kyle?
In Robert Kirkman's "Outcast" comic book series, Sarah is unresponsive to Kyle whenever he visits her in the hospital. However, one visitor managed to get a reaction from Kyle's mother.
"From The Shadows, It Watches"
In "Outcast" Issue #2, Sarah is visited by a mysterious man named Sidney. While the woman lies in her hospital bed, Sidney talks to her about her bravery and strength.
Unfortunately, he tells her it was all in vain because "they" will eventually find Kyle. As he leaves, a tear falls from Sarah's eye.
Was Sarah desperately fighting the demon inside her that wanted Kyle dead? Who is Sidney, and what will he do when he visits Sarah?
The preview for "Outcast" Episode 2 already hinted on Sidney greeting Sarah. "I Remember When She Loved Me" will air on Cinemax on June 10.
