E3 wasn't just about new games and sequels to current properties - there was plenty of opportunity to show off updates and expansions to games that are out right now. EA took that opportunity to announce some new DLC for last year's hit "Star Wars: Battlefront," releasing a trailer and key details on their website. The new DLC is called "Bespin," and comes with a wide array of features centered around the famed Cloud City over the planet of Bespin, famous for its appearance in "The Empire Strikes Back."

The new Bespin DLC includes five maps that take place within the Cloud City, featuring memorable locations reproduced from the film such as the whitewashed hallways of the Administrator's Palace, and the darkened corridors and hallways of the Carbon-Freezing Chambers. The trailer shows at least one of the maps to take place at the top level of the city, where large-scale open-air combat features flying vehicles engaged in dogfights, and even AT-ATs and AT-STs lumbering about. Meanwhile, the Carbon-Freezing Chambers are far more cramped and enclosed, suggesting a preference for close-quarters combat. A brief scene from the trailer shows one unfortunate Stormtrooper being in the freezing chamber when it activates, presumably sending him to an icy death.

The DLC also includes a new game mode called Sabotage, which is described as such: "The Empire has deployed several tractor beams on the surface of Cloud City that prevents Rebel ships from escaping the planet. In order to power the tractor beams, the Empire makes use of Tibanna Gas Generators that draw from the Tibanna Gas native to Bespin." No further details have yet been revealed about the mode, but presumably players will have to destroy or take control of the generators in order to allow their ships to escape.

Bespin also features two new heroes - the famous Lando Calrissian, on the side of the Rebels, and bounty hunter Dengar for the Imperials. Players will also get to fly around in the Cloud Car, a new vehicle made specifically for the maps. Also included are several new weapons, such as the X8 Night Sniper pistol, which is useful for seeing in the darker maps, and the close-range EE4 blaster. There will also be new Star Wars Cards to make use of.

Bespin will be released for Season Pass owners on June 21. Regular players will be able to purchase the DLC on July 5.
