The Treyarch-developed Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 is slated for release on November 13. The latest in the popular Call of Duty franchise is offering innovative new content in both single and multiplayer modes.
This game which is a sequel to the 2010 game, Call of Duty: Black Ops, will have single player campaign, which will be semi-dynamic and with various missions that will be different from the usual first-person shooting games. While as in the multiplayer mode, the game will have a built-in spectating and even a broadcasting system supporting the gaming community.
Gamescon, where the game first demoed reported new details of Black Ops 2s multiplayer mode. Multiplayer game's emblem editor will be back but will be getting a complete overhaul. This had allowed gamers to design their own emblems, where they could paste clip-art graphics, color and modify them completely. It will be "bigger and better than ever."
Another feature that's coming back to Black Ops 2s is Scavenger perk, which will replenish your ammunition, and grenades as you step over a fallen enemy.
There will be two rounds in the Domination's public matches. Teams playing will be on a even keel since they swap spawn points between rounds; your team's final outcome is affected where the teams spawns on the map. This will help players to switch the strategies and will prevent spawn trapping.
Gamescon also released pictures of maps that were played. Maps of Yemen, Cargo, Aftermath, and Turbine were revealed. Black Ops 2 is different from the previous franchises and will have a futuristic setting and warfare technology. Another first will be branching story lines that a player can choose to play or not. This game will also feature a Zombies mode, a third in the Call of Duty franchise.
