Fall season is when tech and mobile giants release the latest iterations of everyone's favorite toys (phones?), so it doesn't come as a surprise that the highly anticipated PlayStation Neo should make a debut this November, as per Cinema Blend. In fact, Eurogamer's Richard Leadbetter spoke of the upcoming release, saying that all evidence points to the fall season release.

"Several sources have indicated to me that PlayStation Neo launches this year, despite its E3 no-show," Leadbetter wrote. "If that is the case, it'll be interesting to see how developers utilize its resources, and whether 4K really is the focus."

The PlayStation Neo is supposedly utilizing a 4K resolution for improved graphics and a better gaming experience. However, it seems that the PlayStation Neo is still in the works, as Sony remained tight-lipped about it and went as far as not including it in the E3 presentation, Gamespot reports. The company may be opting for a reveal during the GamesCom in Germany this August or the Tokyo Game Show in Japan this September.

According to Tech Times, the decision to keep the PlayStation Neo a secret for the time being is because they are still busy making it the best it could be.

They wanted to "to ensure [Sony] has a full range of the best experiences on the new system that it can showcase in their entirety," Sony Interactive Entertainment CEO Andrew House told Tech Times.

Unlike what some might assume, the PlayStation Neo isn't positioned to eliminate the PlayStation 4 completely. According to House, "It is intended to sit alongside and complement the standard PS4. We will be selling both [versions] through the life cycle."

Expect the PlayStation Neo to be slightly more costly than the PS4, however, and keep fingers crossed for a Fall 2016 release, as the PlayStation Neo is gearing up to be a promising Christmas stocking filler.
