The next DLC pack for "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3" will be featuring dragons and zombies, among other things. Dubbed "Descent," the new content will bring several new exciting missions and elements to the first-person shooter.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Descent DLC pack is the next to arrive for the game, which will let players battle zombies and dragons at the same time, providing a completely new challenge.

There will also be a new mission, four new multiplayer maps, new enemies, weapons, unique items and gameplay mechanics.

Polygon stated that according to Activision, the newest mission in "Call of Duty: Black Ops 3," called GorodKrovi, will be found in the Zombies saga.

The mission is set in an alternate Soviet Union in the ruins of Stalingrad in the 1940s. Gamers will battle a swarm of mechanized zombie infantry and also have to survive the fiery attacks of dragons from the sky.

One of the special items that gamers can discover is a shield formed like a dragon that appears to launch emerald fire.

The four new multiplayer maps in Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Descent DLC Pack are Empire, Cryogen, Berserk and Rumble. Empire is set in a Roman villa and is a recreation of the Raid map in the previous Black Ops.

Cryogen is located in a cryogenic prison compound at the center of the Dead Sea. Berserk is situated in a Viking village where a blizzard may strike anytime. Rumble is a battle arena that features several fallen giant robots.

Escapist Magazine wrote that the Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 Descent DLC will be a continuation of the Origins storyline in Zombies mode.

The official description stated that after players escaped the swamps of Zetsubou No Shima, they are brought into Stalingrad, which has been ravaged by war.

The heroes will have to face their most dangerous enemies in the aftermath of a grand battle between dragons and giant mechanized robots.

The game trailer featured several fight scenes and weapons. The ferocious dragons were also shown flying near the end of the clip.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 - Descent DLC pack will arrive first on PlayStation 4 on July 12, 2016. The latest add-on will cost $15 for regular players.

Those who have the Season Pass will get it for free. The DLC pack will also launch on Xbox One and PC at later unspecified dates. More updates and details are expected soon.
