"Darksiders 3" Could Focus On Strife
When Nordic Games acquired the "Darksiders" franchise from Vigil Games, fans immediately hoped that the publisher will release a sequel right away. Although there are no updates from Nordic just yet, there are speculations that "Darksiders 3" will put the spotlight on Strife.
The two previous "Darksiders" titles had focused on War and Death, but as Gameskinny points out, there are four Horsemen. That means that a third Horseman could get his own game, which should be "Darksiders 3".
But will Strife's game introduce new gameplay in the upcoming title?

Wait, what? If "Darksiders 3" will follow Strife's story, the gameplay will have to change and adapt to the character's strengths. Since Strife is a marksman with two pistols (aptly named Mercy and Redemption), it would make sense that the sequel should include shooting gameplay.
It would be a questionable move for Nordic Games. However, there are other speculations that "Darksiders 3" might not even focus Strife at all.

Some fans believe that the whip-snapping Fury will become a playable character in "Darksiders 3". There are speculations that the third "Darksiders" title will be about Strife AND Fury to give way for a fourth sequel where all the Horsemen are playable.
