iPhone 5 Rumors: New Earphone Photos Leaked

Another rumor of the leaked pictures of the new earphones for the iPhone 5 has surfaced from a Vietnamese site Tinhte.

Apple has apparently changed the design of its earphones which has not seen change since 2008. The new earphones have a unibody design and are much smaller than its predecessor.

"All factors such as design, quality finishing materials fabricated wire, plastic body headphones are led to the conclusion this is genuine and not counterfeit headphones," said the Tinhte blog post (translation from MacRumors).

"The sound quality of his ears are better, clearer sound, more channels and separate a little but the volume was reduced compared to the old headset about 1-1.5 hiccups. New ear's bass is more powerful than the old ears but maybe some of you will not be satisfied with the reduced volume as mentioned above," said the blog.

The earphones have been manufactured in Vietnam and one of the photos has a description on the cable that reads, "Designed by Apple in California. Assembled in Vietnam."

PC Magazine said, the leaked photos have two isolated speaker ports rather than one. The in-line remote seems to be missing.

It also reported that previously there have been reports of fake Apple earphones surfacing some were prototypes.

Although Apple has not officially stated that it will be unveiling its new iPhone 5, rumors point out that the iPhone 5 may be announced on Sept. 12 press event. It's been also rumored that Apple might offer an upgraded Airplay feature for Bluetooth speakers.
