'No Man's Sky' Release Date, News & Update: Check The 18 Quintillion Planets, Huge Gameplay & Multiplayer Mode; Being Compared To Other Big Games & Numbers

The much-awaited release date of "No Man's Sky" has been moved a lot of times. It might be related to the revelation of Hello Games that the upcoming title will have 18 quintillion planets.

18 Quintillion Planets

Maybe Hello Games is not yet finish developing the huge, 18 quintillion planets of "No Man's Sky," according to iTech Post.

The "No Man's Sky" universe holds a large number of planets that might need constant changes, but fans are hoping that the August release will be final.

A Huge Gameplay

Players might have a hard time to explore the world of "No Man's Sky" for its incredible vastness.

Hence, it is not yet known what kind of adventure the gamers have to face on "No Man's Sky." But for sure, the adventure survival video game has an ending point.

'No Man's Sky' Compared To Other Big Games & Numbers

Compared to other big galaxy-spanning games, "No Man's Sky" still holds the record of having an enormous number of planets, as per Movie News Guide.

"Stellar" has 1000 star systems while "EVE: Online" carries 8,000 solar systems and "Elite: Dangerous" carries 400 billion star systems. Yet, nothing can exceed "No Man's Sky" 18 quintillion planets.

"Elite: Dangerous," which has the biggest numbers upon the three titles, still has to be multiplied 4.5 million times to match "No Man's Sky" universe.

The 18 quintillion planets of "No Man's Sky" are also illogical compared to the numbers of the economy, small things and even the ecosystem.

If only the planets in "No Man's Sky" will be equivalent to one dollar, it already outdoes the gross world product, which is about $107 trillion, by 172,000 times.

Multiplayer Mode

With all of these, it is believed that "No Man's Sky" might bear a different kind of multiplayer mode because of its massive size.

"No Man's Sky" player might have a hard time to meet each other even though they are in a shared universe.

But, as the main objective of "No Man's Sky" is to reach the center of the universe, there are more chances that gamers will see each other.

"No Man's Sky" is expected to be revealed on Aug. 9.
