Various designs and parts of Apple's iPhone 5 have been leaked to the media over the past few months.
iMore reported that the leaks of iPhone parts were accurate and these will be a part of the new iPhone 5 that will be unveiled on Sept. 12.
"iMore has learned that recent parts leaks and dummy phones are accurate representations of what the new iPhone (iPhone 5,1) will look like when Apple announces it on September 12, 2012," iMore said. "Almost identical in design to the iPhone 4 and iPhone 4S, the major visible differences will include a 4-inch display with a 16:9 aspect ratio, a metallic plate across most the back, and a miniaturized Dock connector and relocated 3.5mm headset jack along the bottom."
iMore was the first to report on the Sept. 12 being the announcement day for iPhone. Along with the unveiling of the new iPhone 5, a report from 9to5Mac suggests that the updated Apple's iPods, will also be released at the event.
The new iPod is likely to roll out in multiple colors, "one of the lines will come in two size capacities, and the other two lines will come in a single storage capacity."
The report also said, that "new" iPod nano and iPod shuffle will be unveiled. It said that there is a possibility of a "third line."
iPod nano is likely to have a larger screen and home button. Rumors of iPod touch undergoing changes with a 4 inch display screen have been doing the rounds but there have been no leaks regarding its redesigns said MacRumors.
