Brawling Game Classic ‘The Warriors’ Back On PlayStation 4

Brawling Game Classic ‘The Warriors’ Back On PlayStation 4

Rockstar Games has released an old classic with “The Warriors” that is now available for the PlayStation 4 (PS4). The game is based on the movie of the same name and is now available in 1080p plus more.

“The Warriors” is unlike Rockstar’s popular “Grant Theft Auto” franchise, focusing more in brawls. Set in 1979, the story plot tells the story of a street gang named “The Warriors” who have been wrongly accused of killing the leader of a rival gang.

The goal on “The Warriors” is to help the gang from one end to the other in the city of New York. The is about 20 miles of travel plus the game challenge of which will be against erring street gang members.

The game was first released in Oct. 17, 2005 and is based on the actual film “The Warriors”. According to a review by Game Spot, it is one of the better pure-action games and something that goes out of its way than to narrate the actual storyline based on the movie. Another version came out as well in 2013 for the PS3.

New and improved version for the PS4

The PS4 version of “The Warriors” offers better graphics (1080p) and added features. Among the new enhancements include trophies, shareplay, remote play, activity feeds and second screen support for game manuals such s the PS Vita or PS App in a separate report.

It should be noted as well that the new version of “The Warriors” is a PS2 converted game. Hence, there could be times when the title plays differently.

Overall, “The Warriors” is one game that gamers may want to look into. Compared to other movie-based game titles where most would pluck out and tell part of the actual film, this one veers away from that.

“The Warriors” is available from the PlayStation Store for just £11.99.
