Robert Downey Jr. aka Tony Stark has been seen in seven different armors over the years in "Iron Man," "Iron Man 2," and "The Avengers" reported Collider.
The suit was first seen at Comic-Con. The Latino Times has revealed the much-anticipated "Iron Man 3's" new armor, named Mark VIII, which can be summoned by Tony piece by piece.
According to Latino Review:
The Extremis-enhanced bad guys under direction of Ben Kingsley's Mandarin villain are going to be too much for Tony to handle on his own, so he thinks ahead, thinks big and has a plan. Tony's about to go out and fight some bad guys when he mentions the Mark XLVII to Pepper Potts. Pepper asks what happened to the other forty and Tony just smiles..
From the cockpit of Mark XLVII Tony is able to control multiple armors in battle. We over here at LR have been vaguely aware of an action scene where Tony was going to control multiple Iron Man suits (presumably they look similar to distract his enemies as to the location of kill-able Iron Man Prime), but the number 40 seems...awesome. 40 Iron Men
Collider reports that the armor has an inverted red-gold color scheme.
The movie will star actors like Ben Kingsley, Gwyneth Paltrow, Don Cheadle, Rebecca Hall, Ashley Hamilton, James Badge Dale, Dale Dickey, and Guy Pearce. Shane Black ("Kiss Kiss Bang Bang") will be directing the movie.
The movie is described as a "technological crisis thriller" and is set in world of war, terror, and arms.The movie is being shot in China and the U.S. It's expected to hit the theatres on May 3, 2013.
