Rockstar Games' "Grand Theft Auto" series remain subject of numerous rumors as a new game under the franchise to be called "GTA 6" is in the works.

Some of the most recent speculations about "GTA 6" are about the characters. Yibada said that Eva Mendes will be lending her voice to the female protagonist in the game. On the other hand, Ryan Gosling, her real-life partner, will be participating in the project as the voice of a new male character.

The outlet also went on to talk about the possible setting of the new "Grand Theft Auto" game. Apparently, there is a good chance that the location for the "GTA 6" will be changed from the fictitious American community of Los Santos.

Citing The Guardian's 2013 interview with Rockstar Games' developer Dan Houser, Yibada said there is good reason to believes that the new "GTA 6" to be set up outside the United States. At the time, Houser expressed his thoughts about creating a game located in the United Kingdom.

Though he was still not sure if he would make it happen in "Grand Theft Auto," he was very excited to share his ideas at the time that he even compared the feel of being in American soil and a British land. There appears to be more to it as media outlets recall his statements.

With all these excitement about the "GTA 6," it is impossible not to ask why there remains no update on when the game is going to be released. According to Gotta Be Mobile, there is a possibility that "GTA 6" has not seen the light of day due to the popularity of "GTA Online."

Of course, fans are still holding on to the fact that Rockstar confirmed the development of a "GTA 6" back in 2015. And that the game development may contain 45 years-worth of ideas, according to Leslie Benzies, the head for Rockstar North

Talking to Develop, Benzies confirmed that the company is already working on a follow up to "GTA V" which players may still enjoy. "GTA V" was published in September 2013. Rockstar has since rolled out numerous extensions and patches for the game.
