'Game Of Thrones Season 7' Air Date, Spoilers, News & Update: Official Premiere Date Revealed! Creators Discusses Spinoff Possibilities

HBO's "Game of Thrones" has been widely successful ever since it first debuted on the channel. Now that "Game of Thrones" has just ended it sixth season, many fans are left with anticipation for the "Game of Thrones" Season 7. In fact, already fans have set their theories and discussed it amongst other "Game of Thrones" fan.

In recent news, it is said that, with "Game of Thrones," end looming there is a possibility of a spin-off happening. "Game of Thrones" Season 7 creators, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss discussed about a possible spin-off in a recent interview. "We think about thinking about it, but once we start thinking about it, we realize we have other things that are immediately pressing that we need to be thinking about today," they said.

As for the spin-off and what story it shall take form in, the two creators of "Game of Thrones" Season 7 said that there are many stories they can think of, but mostly it could be a prequel. As of now, David Benioff and D.B. Weiss are concentrating on the installment they are producing right now, especially the fact that they have to work on the "Game of Thrones" Season 7.

Both David Benioff and D.B. Weiss revealed the "Game of Thrones" season 7 will come out next year -- a little bit later than March and April. Unlike the past "Game of Thrones" season, which debuted on March/April this year, "Game of Thrones" Season 7 will come in the later months of 2017.

"We're starting a bit later because at the end of this season, 'Winter is here'--and that means that sunny weather doesn't really serve our purposes anymore," "Game of Thrones" Season 7 creators David Benioff and D.B. Weiss stated. "So we kind of pushed everything down the line so we could get some grim, gray weather even in the sunnier places that we shoot."

Also, rumours has it that "Game of Thrones" will end at Season 8 and that there will only be a total of 13 episodes between Season 7 and Season 8. Stay tuned to GamenGuide for more "Game of Thrones" Season 7 spoilers, news and updates!
